Slovenian Alps

Little Slovenia isn’t known to all lovers of hikers - not yet. This is however not the result of lacking opportunities, but goes back to the fact that it has long been part of former Yugoslavia.

Reaching independence in the early 90s, Slovenia has since experienced a state of freedom and overall upswing. The EU member state has developed steadily and established a fruitful collaboration with its neighbours.

Besides ski areas and the ideal prerequisites for mountain bikers, Slovenia boasts quaint little villages and towns, mountains, hills and wine-growing areas and shares the Adriatic Sea. Slovenia is still waiting to be discovered!
