Lermoos

The idyllic Panorama Pool Lermoos awaits you during the summer months with a constant water temperature of 26 degrees C

Altitude: 1,004 m a.s.l.

Between the Lechtal Alps, the Ammergau Alps and the Wetterstein Mountains, there is a small village at the edge of a former marshland: Lermoos. As one of the oldest villages in the Ausserfern area, it was already mentioned in 1020 AD. In the course of time, it has become a popular holiday destination in the heart of a wonderful hiking and mountain bike paradise.

The trails take you into the world of mountains of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, to destination such as the Ehrwald Moutain Hut and further on to the Coburg Mountain Hut, or the Hochthörle Hut at the foot of the Zugspitze. Moreover there are routes for mountain bikers and freeride trails down to the valley. The Panorama Pool Lermoos, the public indoor pool, and the 9-hole golf course Tiroler Zugspitze Lermoos-Ehrwald are available to make your holidays even more varied.

On the local mountain, the Grubigstein, winter fun starts in the eponymous skiing area. But it won't end here, as this area is connected to the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena Ski Region featuring 143 km of slopes. The Zugspitzplatt Glacier on Mt. Zugspitze can be reached from the neighbouring village of Ehrwald, and offers great skiing conditions for a large part of the year. Lermoos itself adds five easy cross-country ski tracks and the two toboggan runs Brettlalm and Grubigstein.
