Looking for a real thrill? Then we've got a hot spot for you, which is Corvara in the Val Passiria valley. This is where one of the largest artificial ice climbing facilities of Europe is located. The structure consists of a 25 m high ice tower, and a 14 m high ice cylinder with a maximum width of 5 metres. Moreover there is a 2 m wide and 15 m high ice wall. To make these elements even more interesting, there are horizontal climbing passages, overhangs and difficult crossings.

Routes of various levels of difficulty, that's what this ice structure offers, and up to 18 climbers can exercise on this artificial structure contemporaneously. It is not only ideal for experts, but also perfect for beginners who would like to make their first steps on ice. Additionally the ice tower is venue for international ice climbing events, in which famous ice climbers such as Markus Bendler, Benedikt Purner, Christoph Hainz, Angelika Rainer, Jenny Lavarda, Felicitas Feller and Urs Odermatt take part in.

Also at Stulles, at the head of the valley, as well as at Innerhütt, there are icefalls which provide perfect conditions for ice climbing. Please note that icefalls and the ice tower are subject to temperatures and weather, so please check the current situation in advance and on site. Rush of adrenaline guaranteed!
