Mountains

The amazing world of mountains with its majestic three-thousanders is one of the highlight of holidays in Tyrol

Mountain ranges like the Kitzbühel Alps and the Karwendel Mountains (in the picture) in North Tyrol or the High Tauern in East Tyrol invite you to unique alpine experiences. The mighty mountains of 3,000 metres and the snow and ice-covered peaks are not only an impressive scanery, but also provide breathtaking views down into the valley.
